100 Years of Radio in Austria
The launch of broadcasting operations on 1 October 1924, marked a milestone in Austria's radio history and the beginning of a success story that continues to this day. More than six million people tune in to their favorite radio station every day — on average, for more than three hours daily, and using a variety of devices ranging from traditional kitchen radios to modern mobile applications.

To celebrate this special anniversary, we had the honor of designing a jubilee publication for ORF and the House of Austrian History. It was important to us that this tribute to a full century of radio history not become a dry chronicle of events. Together with our clients, we created a compelling editorial concept that takes readers on a journey of discovery through deeply personal "radio moments". These stories convey the spirit of the eras and range of emotions that radio has evoked over the past 100 years — capturing moments that are sometimes tragic, sometimes joyful, but always moving.
